Pardi

Pardi is a small village situated in Baghmundi block in Purulia district of West Bengal. Nestled in the laps of Ayodhya Hills, the place is marked by its peaceful, serene and pollution-free environment. You can spend time listening to the chirping of birds or go for a thrilling adventure walk through the dense forest surrounding the area. Pardi Dam is located a little away from the village. It is a small dam constructed on Kathaljhuri river. The scenic view of the dam is best experienced at early morning and evening.

How to Reach

You can board Chakradharpur Passenger from Howrah and disembark at Barabhum station. Bagmundi is 26 km from Barabhum. Regular bus service is available from Barabhum to Baghmundi. Alternatively, you may reach Suisa station from Howrah by train. Buses are plying from Suisa to Baghmundi. Banshitar lies on the road between Baghmundi and Balarampur. Accommodation
