Digardi

Digardi is a tribal village located in Purulia district of West Bengal. The place is surrounded by dense forests of sal, jarul, mahul and asan trees. Several tiny hills are visible from this village. The tranquil and lonely environment of Digardi makes it ideal for those who wish to spend a weekend in serenity. Digardi is also frequented by bears and elephants at night. You can visit the Upper Dam at Ayodhya Hills by car.

How to Reach

Trains are running from Howrah to Barabhum station. Buses and cars are available from Barabhum to reach Digardi. It takes about 40 minutes.

Accommodation

There are no proper hotels at Digardi. However you can stay at the village huts.
