Gangani

Gangani (also spelled as Gongoni) is located near the small town of Garhbeta in Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. It is called the Grand Canyon of Bengal. The place is located on the bank of Shilabati river. The 70 ft deep gorge through which the Shilabati river flows during the monsoon is a beautiful creation of mother nature formed by soil erosion with the aid of the River Shilabati.
