Dwaranda

Dwaranda is a village near Bolpur in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The village lies close to the bank of Ajay river. The rural setting, calm ambiance and refreshing air of the place makes it an amazing retreat for a soul buried with stress and anxiety. The shade of the trees overlooking small ponds are an ideal place to rest and spend some time in solitude. Kankalitala, a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali and regarded as one of the 51 Shaktipiths, is an hour and a half drive from Dwaronda village.

How to Reach

Trains are running from Howrah, Sealdah and Kolkata to Bolpur Shantiniketan. Autorickshaws are available from Bolpur station to reach Dwaranda.
